I have knitted the front up to the neck shaping and left the piece on a needle,at 17"to the armholes it seems about the right length for me, and now I am doing the back.
Anybody who's knitted this got any advice pleasse? I am signed in, but don't see that " see all comments reply. Lisa " There should be no increase in stitches on this row, after you subtract the border stitches you will be working stitches in the middle, the stitch pattern count is 18, so you will work the K2tog 3X, yo, k1, 6x, k2tog 3x for a total of 8 patterns across the row, I suggest unraveling the row back to a row that has the stitches and placing stitch markers after the k5 border, then every 18 sts, until you place the last marker for the k5 border at the end of the row.
If you are still having a stitch count issue look to your yo, the yo being done incorrectly is the single most common problem I see with my students that I teach. When I complete row 5 of the Ripple Stitch, I have increased the number of stiches by 35 and end with the YO Knit 1 6 times before I do the 5 for edge not the K2 3 times. Lisa " I do love the look of the project, but with so much missing information in the pattern, it makes it kind of useless. Updated June 24, Login Register My Notes.
