She ruined the book for me and thus I'm DNF-ing it. I can't continue reading about her. She is super super super whiney and non-stop complaining. And I'm tired of hearing about how hot she thinks she is and that her body is perfection. The hero is ok, but I'm starting to hate him due to the fact that he didn't throw the heroine down a flight of steps.
If he did that, I'd like him a lot. I started this sometime in and since it's now 2 I hate the heroine. I started this sometime in and since it's now , I'm giving up on ever finishing reading it. I've got better things to do with my time, like eat macaroons and macarons while reading books I don't want to burn. So eff off Chase Me , I'm not chasing this story anymore. Chase Me has the right amount of charm, humor and banter--not too mention sizzling chemistry--between the main characters that I just knew right from reading that very first page, I was in love.
Unfortunately, that love that I was starting to feel was short-lived. Especially a certain woman named Marla who only had the right amount of patience that day but still not enough to deal with these characters' games. I should've known. Nevertheless, even though Roxy made me dizzy and even if the climax was not so short of predictable, I still couldn't get myself to rate this anything lower than three stars.
It made me laugh and still root for the characters so I think that's saying something. I've enjoyed some Tessa Bailey books in the past and even though I've all rated them three stars, I know that I will still keep coming back for more of her work. Seriously I think Tessa Bailey gets better and better with every book I read of hers. So So Good! Can't wait to read Need Me View all 4 comments. Mar 19, Andrea added it Shelves: d-n-f.

A light-hearted new adult from Tessa Bailey. The hero is much less intense than her normal hero, yet still dirty in the bedroom. The heroine and her roommates made me laugh - great chemistry between them. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. The conflict is a little predictable and it has a pretty abrupt ending - but I'd recommend this one. I really hope the heroine's roommates get books. This is your first time. So he proved her right and made himself a liar. She cast a glance toward the door. No one was going to make her feel vulnerable again. Above all, they could be dangerous to her. When Louis felt his hands clench and shake, he breathed deeply through his nose. She would see this as temporary before it even got started. So he proved her right and made himself a liar. I want to know you. She cast a glance toward the door. Sixty bucks might not sound like much, but when your roommate has just booted you onto your ass for failure to come through on rent—again—leaving you no place to live, and your checking account is gasping for oxygen, pink bunnies do what pink bunnies must.
At least her round, fluffy tail would cushion her fall when her ass hit the sidewalk. Or not. Toothpaste commercials, walk-on rolls for daytime soaps. One word kept her going, kept her boarding the subway to another audition. Someday she would look back at this pre-stardom experience and be grateful for it. Although she might just leave out the pink bunny suit. Unfortunately, on days like today, when a shitstorm cloud was riding low above her head, following her everywhere she went, someday seemed a long way off.
